I don't remember what nick I associated with it, but I think it was the same, or similar to my nick here. Any solutions or suggestions? I know I could use Adium instead but I don't want to give up certain feature like screensharing, videochat or iChat theatre. I had an ICQ account from around 1996, 1997 & I'd like to try to locate & use it again. I have Chax installed to remove the html code that is sent to people with every message that don't use iChat. I know iChat doesn't support ICQ natively, but if you choose AIM you can enter your ICQ login and password and it worked fine for several years. I changed my password for my ICQ account but that didn't help to get iChat working again either. Palringo and ICQ apps for iPhone and beejive for iPad still work without a change. But when I change the server in iChat it still asks for my password. is a free video chat website where you can watch up to 4 webcams at the same time in multiple chatrooms, invite people you like to a private chat, send instant messages, create and view profiles with photos, send and receive offline messages, fan and rate people, get email notifications when someone you like comes online, send tokens, and more. A suggested solution for adium was to change the login server from the default settings to the new and it worked after a restart (no change of default Port 5190). The same problem also happened with adium. I did a little google research and as it shows, ICQ changed the login servers. Since today, everytime I want to login into my ICQ account via iChat it asks for my password but when I enter it, it keeps asking again.
